In response to a request to modify and expand Area 21 Residential Permit Parking (see the map with the proposed changes below), the Macalester-Groveland Community Council's Transportation Committee held two public meetings. At the December 12th meeting, the item was tabled after discussion to give committee members more time to gather information and deliberate over their decision. At the January 23rd meeting, Transportation Committee recommended to accept the new Petition for Permit Parking for Area 2. This recommendation (as with all committee recommendations at the Community Council) will go before the Community Council Board of Directors on Thursday, February 9th at 6:45pm at the Edgcumbe Recreation Center (320 South Griggs Street). If approved, this recommendation will go on to the City Council.

City Council Public Hearing
There will be a public hearing for Area 21 Residential Permit Parking with the City Council on Wednesday, March 21st at 5:30pm in council chambers on the third floor of City Hall.
