The Macalester-Groveland Community Council offers discounted natural & organic lawn care services or self-application products to Macalester-Groveland residents.  The program was started because more and more residents are showing interest in turning away from the heavy use of:

• Pesticides
• Herbicides
• Non-organic fertilizers
• Synthetic fertilizers

These chemicals have a significant negative impact on the health of our children, pets, plants, and the environment (including wildlife and our rivers).  Turning to organic-based techniques reduces contaminants in our lakes and rivers, boosts the strength and vitality of your lawns and gardens, and helps to make your grass, plants and trees more disease-resistant.
