If you're interested in being active in your neighborhood - and you like gardening - the Beautification Committee's a great way to become involved. The Beautification Committee promotes crime prevention through the development of activities including the spring and fall annual plant shares, and the Alley Garden Awards and Tour. The committee meets the third Monday of the month from March through October, and is staffed by the community council's Recycling & Environmental Coordinator, Lauren Anderson.
